My Story
After nearly two decades in senior living and healthcare, including years as an Executive Director in assisted living, memory care, and independent living, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming it can be for families to find the right community for a loved one.
I’ve sat across the table from adult children torn between urgency and uncertainty. I’ve heard their questions, their guilt, and their deep desire to do the right thing. I’ve also seen the difference it makes when someone who understands senior living takes the time to listen and guide them with compassion.
That experience inspired me to start Elder Life Transitions. My goal is to bring the same calm, expert guidance I offered inside senior communities directly to families who need help now.
What I learned
Working inside senior communities taught me that great care isn’t just about beautiful buildings or long activity calendars. It’s about trust, leadership, and daily consistency that helps residents feel safe, connected, and truly cared for.
Families often need someone who understands how senior living really works and can help them identify private-pay options that balance quality, compassion, and cost.
That insight became the foundation of our work at Elder Life Transitions.
